Uplink is a straightforward way to give apps running on your own machines a fast, secure public address—without moving the apps or surrendering control of the infrastructure beneath them.

Why we’re building it

A better front door for the computers you already own.

Self-hosting is powerful, but getting a local service safely onto the internet still means stitching together DNS, certificates, proxies, firewall rules, and several layers of access control.

We’re building Uplink to collapse that work into one dependable connection. It pairs a polished managed edge with an open-source client and the OpenTunnels protocol, so the easy path and the inspectable path can be the same path.
